I have passed the 77-600 with 837 marks out of 1000. The format of the MCAS: Windows Vista 77-600 exam varies from those of other Microsoft certifications exams. The 70-600 exam basically covers performance-based or simulated questions. These types of questions help you to clearly demonstrate your skills in MCAS: Windows Vista. There are 38 questions and you have to complete them in 50 minutes.

About 77-600 exam

The 77-600 Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS): Windows Vista exam is designed for the professionals who have hands-on experience using Windows Vista for at least one year. The professionals should be very productive, collaborative, and efficient in using the Windows Vista technology. The exam measures your skills and ability to accomplish technical tasks, such as protecting your computer, managing mobile and remote computing, managing files and folders, etc. On passing the exam 77-600, you earn credit toward the (MCAS): Windows Vista for the Business Worker certification.

Who should take this exam?

This exam prepares you for job roles that require knowledge and use of the Windows Vista technologies to complete business-related tasks, such as managing mobile and remote computing, software, disks, and devices, and also managing files and folders. The candidates for this exam have the equivalent of six months to one year of hands-on experience using Windows Vista. They also know how to use Windows Vista to be more productive, more collaborative, and more efficient. The candidates are especially effective at protecting, optimizing, and troubleshooting their own computers. They are also highly effective in managing mobile and remote computing; managing software, disks, and devices; managing files and folders; collaborating; and customizing their Windows Vista experience.

When you pass Exam 77-600: MCAS: Windows Vista for the Business Worker, you complete the requirements for the following certification(s):

Microsoft Certified Application Specialist: Windows Vista

What you should study?

I have purchased the uCertify PrepKit for the preparation of this exam. The PrepKit covers all the topics of the exam. The How-Tos are really too good as they all the functionalities provided by Windows Vista. The other book that I recommend is "Step-by-Step Windows Vista". The main thing to practice is gain some hands-on practice to perform better in the exam.
